Custom figures

Custom figures are made from the photos you send. After you pay we email a free 3D preview. You can ask for changes. If you are not happy with the preview, tell us before you approve it and we refund you in full. Because a custom figure is personalised, once you approve the preview it is made to your specification and the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply. Your statutory rights for faulty or damaged goods are not affected.

By uploading photos you confirm you took them or have permission to use them, and, for photos of other people, that they are happy for a figure to be made. We do not make figures of copyrighted or trademarked characters, logos or brands, and we may refuse any order.

Pre-orders

Everything we sell is made to order. While our workshop is getting set up, orders are taken as pre-orders: within 2 working days of your order we email you the date it will be posted. You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time until we start making it. If we cannot meet the date we gave you, we tell you straight away and you can choose a refund.

Ready-made products

Ready-made items are printed to order and posted on the date we confirm by email. You can cancel within 14 days of delivery and return the item unused for a refund of the item price. Incense holders and smoke fountains must be used on a heat-safe surface and never left burning unattended. Figures are decorative keepsakes, not toys, and are not suitable for children under 14.

Lamps and lights

USB lamps come with a fitted, CE- or UKCA-marked USB LED and work from any USB charger or port (USB plug not included). Lamp bases are sold without electrics: they fit a standard UK pre-wired lamp kit (E27 or E14), fitted by you, following the kit maker's instructions. Use LED bulbs only, 8 W maximum, and keep the bulb clear of the resin. Clip-on lamp buddies must be clipped to the bulb holder's outer shroud or the lamp stem, never to the bulb. Lamps are decorative and not suitable for children under 14. Personalised lamps (a name, or a pet or garage made from your photos) are made to your specification, so the 14-day cancellation right does not apply once we start making them.

Business orders

For business and club orders we send a free mock-up and a written quote. By sending us a logo, name or crest you confirm that you own it or have the owner's permission for us to reproduce it. We do not reproduce other companies' logos or brands. Nothing is made until you approve the mock-up in writing. Unless agreed otherwise we ask for a 50% deposit when you approve and the balance before dispatch. Branded and personalised items are made to your order and cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, except where they are faulty or not as approved. Minimum quantities are shown on our business page.

Product safety

Our products are made from cured, sealed resin. Keep small items such as keyrings and magnets away from young children. Dashboard air fresheners are supplied unscented on a non-slip pad: place them low on the dashboard, where they never block the driver's view or any airbag, and use only the scent refills supplied with them or sold for that purpose. Contact us if you have any safety question about a product.

Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses by Royal Mail Tracked 48 for £3.95, free on orders of £50 or more. Custom figures are posted on the date we confirm when you approve your preview. If anything arrives damaged, send us a photo within 14 days and we will remake or refund it.

Our designs

All products, characters (including The Ember Accord), sculpts and images on this site are original works of ModelCreators 3D. Please do not copy or resell them. Landmark smoke fountains are our own artistic interpretations of natural and public landmarks.

Privacy

We collect your name, email, phone (optional), delivery address and the photos you upload, only to make and deliver your order and to contact you about it. Photos are stored privately and deleted 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them for a reorder. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. We use Vercel to host this site and store order data, and Google (Gmail) and Resend to send emails about your order. We only send marketing emails if you tick the box at checkout, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You can ask to see or delete your data by emailing us. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
